Lip Service: February

As future PR people, it's super important to prep our pouts so we can confidently pitch and promote clients! Check out our top lip product picks this month!

Elise's pick:

Rosebud Salve
So my pick for this month stems from the sadness I'm experiencing over my now empty container of what is arguably the best lip balm/fly-away tamer/everything fix: Rosebud Salve (in strawberry, because I hate the smell of the original). Wow. That was a ridiculous sentence.

This wonder will set you back $7, which is kind of pricey for a lip balm, but it keeps your pout moisturized all day. Like from my 6 am wakeup through a day of classes to the gym and home and I don't have to re-apply. It's essentially a tin of magic, people. And you can find it at Sephora and some Bath and Body Works locations.

It's also a great way to revive dry lips after using stains (which I do, A LOT, especially hot-pink ones) and layers nicely over colored lip products. Did I mention that the strawberry one smells great?

Jasmine's pick:

While the weather hasn't been super chilly much this year in The Mitten, it has been borderline schizophrenic, which still wrecks havoc on our delicate pouts.

My most recent lip obsession to keep my lips soft and tender during this finicky winter is Vaseline Lip Therapy. It comes in a variety of forumlas and containers, including a cute mini Vaseline container. I prefer the advanced formula in the tube--fits in my pocket better.

And the best part? You can buy it for less than a dollar! For a college kid, it's great for the budget.
