The newest Industry Insider is Erin Andrews. You'll recognize her from ESPN's "Game Day" and "College Gameday" as a sideline correspondent. She is also a regular on ESPNU.

In 2010, Andrews started corresponding for "Good Morning America."

She earned a telecommunications degree from the University of Florida in 2000. After graduating, she began working for the local Fox Sports station.

Now she's one of the most recognizable sportscasters on America's most-watched sports channel.

Like most television personalities, Andrews has continued building her brand and expanding her abilities. A few seasons ago, she was on "Dancing with the Stars." Thanks to her background in dance--in college, Andrews was a member of the Gators basketball dance team--she was a perfect candidate for the tv show.

We featured Andrews because it's hard to be a woman in the sports industry. And as previously stated, she's now one of the most recognizable sportscasters working for ESPN. She's also been a guest on many talkshows including the "Oprah Winfrey Show" and signed endorsement deals with companies like Reebok.

Because of Andrews, ESPN had to rewrite their endorsement rules for sportscasters and journalists.

She's a successful woman in a men's a world.
